Seminar Overview

This seminar is an excellent outreach event, partnering BWGI Ministries and sponsoring churches within a community. The event consists of a three-hour community lecture on family relationships, followed by seven weeks of small group meetings. The small groups are formed from interested participants after the lecture. Typically, over a third of those who attend the lecture choose to join a small group.

Spiritual Growth Resources: Our Christian Bible study materials and Christian distance education program can be used as follow-up materials to enhance the spiritual growth of individuals and small groups. They are also effective for leadership training.

Research Results

In a national study, Barna Research Group found that the #1 way unchurched people would come to a church activity is by sponsoring a lecture on family relationships. Family relationships is the #1 concern of the American public.

Discover how God the Father re-parents adults with an unhealthy family background.
Acquiring happiness skills such as conflict resolution and healthy communication practices.

Creating A Healthy Family is one of five spiritual growth seminars presented by Becoming What God Intended Ministries (BWGI). All of our seminars address the issues of guilt, shame and worthlessness and their impact on our identity. This particular seminar addresses family backgrounds and their impact on our understanding. It also shows individuals how to be re-parented by God the Father. This seminar may be followed up with our Bible study course material or our online Christian distance education program. Our seminars have trained congregations and staffs throughout the world.

Our online Bible study courses, books, and tapes help participants add to what they have gained through the seminar. They enable participants to integrate spiritual truths into their lives so they can experience the abundant life God has for them; a life marked by love, joy, gratitude, and peace. Seminary and college credit is available from selected institutions for our Christian distance education program.
