Seminar
Follow-Up Options
Following all of our seminars, participants have the
opportunity to expand their learning and observations through
Small Groups, Bible study materials and Long-Term
Leadership Training.
The purpose of these options is to take individuals
and groups even deeper in their journey through the
Becoming What God
Intended workbook material by clarifying the picture of who God is and how He sees
us.
Click on the
Small Groups button above for information on our small
group Bible study program.
Long-Term Leader Training
We provide long-term training and support for small group
facilitators using our Becoming What God Intended materials.
Specifically, we provide quarterly leadership training sessions as
well as speakers addressing the issues in the material.
This training is free.
Our long-term leadership training program is available for churches,
denominations, and parachurch organizations. We currently have
a long-term pastoral and intern training project with the Northwest
region of the Conservative Baptist Churches. We have long-term
training programs in place for several hundred other churches, as
well.
For example, with one church in Portland, Oregon, we provide a
quarterly training for many of their leaders. Another church
in San Mateo, California, has contracted with us for a long-term
leadership training program for over two years. What is most
effective in our experience is a long-term relationship in the area
of leadership training.
One of the training resources we utilize is the material used in the
Healthy Leadership
seminar. Information on the contents of this seminar is
available from the main seminar page (click on the
Seminar button in the navigation
bar). |

Paige is a facilitator of the
Spiritual Transformation study group at First Baptist Church,
Stockton: "Words cannot express how much I am learning.
I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others. The group continuously express their appreciation of this study
to me. They share how they are growing in Christ. I see the changes taking place in my life, as well." Read

Seminar Small Groups
BWGI is
dedicated to furthering the personal and spiritual growth that
results from attending one of our conferences. It has often
been the case that as a result of participating in a seminar
people gain new insight and understanding into their own lives and
relationships, leaving them eager to determine the next step toward
growth and healing.
Upon prior arrangement, BWGI will work with the seminar
organizers to set up a series of small Bible study groups beginning
soon after the seminar. This opportunity can then be offered
to the seminar attendees at the end of the seminar. This is
absolutely the best point in time to offer such a follow-up program.
These small Bible study groups will use BWGI materials to go into
more depth than was possible in the seminar. Group
interaction, sharing and prayer will also enhance the learning
experience, and help promote spiritual growth in the attendees.
