I attended your Theology of Emotions seminar in Stockton, as well as the follow-up refresher course.  My life has not been the same!  Once you know better, you cannot stay the same.  Thank you for the heart-opener!

I fought the responsibility of "knowing better" for a long time after your teaching enlightened me to the real meaning of God's word, but the Father would have nothing less than victory in my emotional life.

I was particularly enlightened at the Greek meaning of some of the words in scripture - they liberated me.  The one that stands out in my heart and mind is the word rule as used in Colossians.  It is the essence of what we are to do with our emotions.  We submit them to the Lord and His peace will "UMPIRE" (reign) in our hearts.  He's not about taking sides, but about how we relate to and treat each other.

I now live in northern Arizona and have been called into ministry.  The Lord is really developing and grooming me with the specifics for His calling.  I still refer to some of the original eye-opening Greek meanings you taught.
