| What Is Worth? |
| A sense of worth is hard to develop in an unhealthy or dysfunctional
home. Too often the family members are fighting sadness and
depression. That leaves them little time to discern their worth. The
sense of worth, either positive or negative, is a powerful force in
our lives.

Can it be done by the amount of money a person is worth? |
That may not work. For example, J. Paul Getty, at one time the richest man in the world, a billionaire, died at home alone, money rich and companionless. He had already written his will and everyone knew he lived for money. So when he died, his only companion into the darkness was his wealth, a cold friend. In a very real sense, J. Paul Getty’s life had no value to it; it was worthless. Why? He had no true friends, friends who would comfort him at his end. Life without relationships is no life at all. Next Page
